So im not much of a 'drinking' guy. I gave an assortment of beers a try last night, but found all to be rather terrible and didnt have more than a swig of each. You guys really like that stuff? Well anyways... I find these smirnoff ice things to be rather fantastic. Anyways, have some more oldy car photos after the jump.

How about Jack and cokes - they go good with old Camaros, Mustangs and Zs. (Or if you want to get "sophisticated" you can do it with Johnny Walker Black and diet Pepsi or ginger ale.)

Smirinoff Ice? That's a bitch drink. But seriously, though, beer is like coffee. You have to try out a whole bunch before you find one you like.

If you'd like to try stuff like Jack and cokes, Costco is your best friend.

In all seriousness, theyre ok if youre just starting to drink alcohol, but as you get older, your taste buds evolve more and like more complex tastes. Beer and wine are amazing once you get to that level. Best thing you can do is just buy a bunch of single 12oz beers or go to a beer tasting and sample. You'll know what you like and don't like as you learn the terms.

Also, stay away from IPA's, they taste like ass and only old people like them.

Others may mock, but the first beer I could get into was Michelob Ultra. It tastes like bread.

Stay with the lighter beers to start with as they aren't as bitter.

Hard liquor mixed with sodas are also acceptable.

For wines try getting a white merlot. It's only mildly tart and has a good fruity taste.

Once you get used to the 'dryness' of alcohol in drinks like what I've mentioned you can explore other varieties.

You're missing out on some really good stuff, and those Smirnoff Ices are loaded with sugar. Nasty stuff.

I love IPA's and have for years, and I'm only 28. Lots of my friends love them too. My general rule with beer is that if I can see through it I want nothing to do with it.

I always liked that combo. But it can be tricky, there are a lot of terrible gins and getting the mixture too strong can ruin it for a noob.

Try Belgian whites or Amber ales. Bothof those beer styles tend to beevery smooth and easy to drink. And they don't taste like someone pissed in some carbonated wheat water like all of those mainstream American lagers.

Yea I'm 28 too. I drink mainly unfiltered Abita Beer. But IPA's are just too hoppy for me. It over powers things. its like adding too much cayanne pepper to your food.

You just have to find what you like. You'll get beat up for drinking Smirnoff ice (figuratively) but whatever. If there's a local bar that has a lot of craft brew you should go in and talk to the bartender. They'll suggest something, and usually let you try before you buy.

Blue moon, shocktop, and Magic Hat #9 are usually good hits with beginners.

Soon enough you'll be making fun of guys drinking Smirnoff ice. ONE OF US, ONE OF US!!!

If you like tanqueray, you should try tanqueray 10, much better in my opinion. Aviator is my favorite, but that might be specific to my region.
